Ok, I thought I would start one of these blogs. I dont even know where to start...So i guess I will start with what happened tonight. Somehow Olivia is jumping completely over a baby gat (30 inches high)...she has never done this before. I thought she would never jump because she is a princess and expects everything to be done for her. Well, she ran around the house and of course i had to catch (which is not an easy task). and now she is mad at me for putting her back in the kitchen. So here is a picture of her with her back to me and glaring at me :p

And I would also like to show everyone my other pets...We have a dog named Bailey..here she is

So I guess this will be the start of my blog...there is always something crazy happening in this house...so im sure I will have plenty to post

Nice pets, Olivia is really a princess! I guess she just wanted to have some fun out of her castle (kitchen) - you know sometimes princesses get bored and dress as warriors just to do something different :p

Haha Vivian made me think of Mulan... such a good movie.

Your bunny is very precious :)
Nice start to your blog!

You know how it is. Girls gone wild. lol. They all have their naughty side, which we put up with because of their sweet side.

Olivia is definitely a beautiful princess. Thanks for sharing pics of your other pets. They are all handsome.

Looking forward to following your journal and seeing how crazy it really gets there.

Animal Insanity: Oh what fun. Best insanity to ever get.

Thanks everyone. It is definitely insane in this house with all these animals...especially the bird....He squawks all the time...funny thing is, if you ask my daughter what the birds name is she will say "Knock it off" because thats what I says to him all day when he is making so much noise :p:laugh:

That's funny. That be the name for my bird too. Our neighbor has one. A love bird, and every time it squawks, it's like it goes right through me. Think they are beautiful, and good companions. But not for me.

So, tonight, my 2 year old got ahold of a permanent marker and decided to color all over my carpet with it. Im trying to figure out how to get it out of the carpet...but when I found her with the marker, guess who was right there with her? Thats right, Olivia was helping!!!! Double Trouble in this house

Well, tonight, I was cooking dinner and while cooking I put Olivia back in her cage. Every night, when I put her in the cage, she gets a treat. Sometimes its a graham cracker, sometimes a few pieces of apple (thats her favorite)...Well, since I was cooking at the same time, I forgot to give her the treat. Let me tell you, she let me know she wasn't happy about that. She was chewing on her cage, throwing her bowl around, wiggling her water bottle around, throwing her shaving out because she was digging, and even picked her bowl up and was banging it on the cage. Princess Olivia had a full blown temper tantrum:laugh:. I have NEVER seen her act like this. But it was quite comical

Here are some pics of Olivia from this morning...and a video that follows :) Enjoy. Olivia has been a handful today. I havent been able to give her much attention since my daughter has been sick, so we have gotten off schedule and Olivia is letting me know. She is doing EVERYTHING she knows she isn't supposed to. Jumping the baby gates, eating my rug, chewing baseboards, jumping on furniture...shes CRAZY today!!!

So, I havent updated the blog in awhile. Its been so hectic in this house as you all know. So, lets get to it...
I have been letting Olivia have more run of the house when she is out of the cage. She doesnt have free roam of the house all day because of our other animals. Im too scared they will hurt her. She jumps the baby gates now, so I would rather her have run of the house when she is out than hurt herself jumping the gates. So that has been an adjustment. Been picking up lots of poops since she is still marking her territory. But, she learned quick to not get on the couches. But, of course, she still tests me and jumps on them occasionally. Here are some recent pics and a video! :) Enjoy

She can jump that gate in the video? You should train her in jumping.

The only jumping Honey has done is that she once jumped onto her hay bucket when I left the lid off. It was full, so she was eating away so I left her there & the next time I looked she was back on the floor. I was surprised she even did that because when I put her pen together I made it bigger with 2 grills from an old 20" box fan, so old that the grill was made with metal rather than plastic. I had them one above the other & folded the top one down to enter the pen. One night I forgot to put it back up, so it was only about an 18" barrier, but Honey had no interest in getting over it, so I put the 2 grills side by side & it's been there that way for nearly 3 months with no jumping attempts.

Rabbits are real individuals, aren't they.

Yes she jumps that gate in the video. Im not sure how tall it is. But when she first started jumping it I would lift it about and inch or two off the ground so she couldnt jump it anymore. I figured if I made it higher but also didnt leave enough gap at the bottom for her to get under, she would stop jumping it. But she can still jump it. I never thought about training for jumping. I dont know anything about it or even how to train her. But it sounds interesting. Where do I start with it?

Love the pics and video. Great job. I have my boys out and about more. But like our dog, we do not tolerate jumping up. Our boys stay on the floor. They only get up on the furniture if we pick them up. And they enjoy the snuggle but then want down to run around.

Glad to hear Olivia has more run time. I'm finding that a exhausted bunny is a happy one.

But you should look at the agility section and find out. This may be a niche for you and your daughter. It's like bunny personalities, they are all different and enjoy doing different things. And yours may be an agility master. Never know. I've looked this agility up and think it's amazing how the bunnies perform. Another way for us to interact with the bunnies. And that's a good thing.

So, today was Olivia's first time outside. She did pretty well with it until the dogs next door started barking. They have 3 dogs. She got so scared. So i brought her back inside because I didn't want her to get too stressed. But before the dogs started barking, she loved it. Except that her feet got wet. She kept cleaning her feet haha Princess olivia will not tolerate wet dirty feet  Heres some pictures from today
