Q-tip litter trained early. I got her at 4 weeks, she was litter trained perfectly on the first day. It took about 2 hours to fully train her. She hasn't had an accident since. In the past two or three weeks, she's been leaving me little presents around the bedroom (just one or two droppings in a place, and she NEVER pees outside her box).

Is this a "I'm pissed off because you're working a double and I'm not running around right now" (which of course is similar to the "I'm pissed off because you went to class for a few hours")?

She's about 5.5 months old...she has an appointment for her spay in Dec. Will that help this? Do you think she's just being devious and showing her disapproval, or what?

It could be hormones. Intact rabbits do tend to leave poops around to mark territory. They will usually leave them around the edges of their area or what they consider their territory.
This is fairly normal even for neutered rabbits. Poops are easy to clean up and just be happy she isn't spraying all over (some females do stray).

Yeah, that's kinda what I figured. I just didn't know if other people's bunnies have done that. I've never had an unspayed female before (even though she'll be spayed in Dec), so I didn't know if that was a hormone thing, since I'd never had a bunny do that.

My Ghirardelli was perfect at his litter box until his hormones. I am so glad he's getting neutered tomorrow! He has become very territorial- pooping along the edges of the room, constantly humping and spraying Becky (his bun wife who is thankfully spayed), humping my slippers, nipping the cats when they come into the room, charging my husband. Oh yeah, it's time for the bits to go!

My spayed females might leave a poop here or there once in a while, but nothing like what Gary is doing now. Best of luck.

One of my bunnies, Olive , had perfect litterbox habits until a few months after she was spayed (and before she met Simon, another neutered bun she's bonded with. She leaves "presents" typically right outside the litterbox. Luckily, it's poops, so I can clean them up easily... but it drives me bonkers. Just what some bunnies do, I guess.

Fraggles is perfectly trained as well although we do find the occasional pellet here and there no big deal. The only exeption is if she can get in our room (which the door is always closed so this is rare) She will leave a pile of poops in the closet on Jasons side were he hangs his jackets. This area smells like him and she loves him the most. As a trade though she steals his guitar picks and hides them in her potty..... I'm not joking about this lol.
