We sign on our new house May 13th and hopefullywill start moving in on the 14th. The buns won't have a longtrip since the house is about 2 miles away.....but it will be a bigchange for them.

Currently they have run of the living room/dining room/hallway andsometimes my bedroom if the door is left open. This area isall carpeted.

When we move - they will definitely have run of a "bunny room" that is10 X 14 - and once they are better w/ their litter box they may also beallowed to run through the rest of that wing of the house(kitchen/living room/dining room/entrance).

HOWEVER, they are currently on carpet - and they will be moving to ceramic tile floors.

What changes might I see in their behavior? Any? Is there anything special I should do?

Tiny will probably be allowed to roam through the whole house whenArt's at work - because he's pretty good about behavinghimself. (Of course, that means I have to bunnyproof a lot).

I can hardly wait for the move - about 2-4 weeks after we move, we'llbe building their new NIC cage and moving the dwarfs into it (if theystop fighting by then) and then as the others get neutered...move theminto it once they're bonded. The cage is going to be 2 cubesdeep, 4 cubes long and 4 cubes high - and on a board with wheelsunderneath so it can be wheeled outside when its nice. Wejust haven't decided yet on the shelves inside it, etc. (ohyes, that way they can get up higher and look out the window too).

I remember the nightmare of moving our rabbits:shock: It was the hardest part of the entire move, because200 rabbits had to be moved and set up into their new living quarterswithin the day span of the day.

Weput some of the rabbits in show carriers. As therabbits were removed from their cages, I was scrubbing cages and theywere being loaded into a huge moving truck. Does and litterswere shipped in separate carriers. I didn't have enoughcarriers for all the rabbits, so some were kept in their cages in thetruck. All the cages had to be numbered, so they could be setup in the same order in the new barn.

Once they were transported the 1 hour drive, everyone was unloaded andthe cages put in the barn. I working until late inthe evening to get the watering system going and everyone settled in.

Everyone settled in well, including mommies and babies :)
