i got a pregnant rabbit 2 days ago...

and whenever i try to touch her, she runs away making a squeaking sound?
"what does it mean"

also she BITES when i get near her???

how can i get her trust when she delivers?

how will i be able to handle her bunnies when she's not trusting me?

I got a pregnant doe too, last year, and she was GRUMPY! She would lunge at my hand and grunt at me. As soon as she had those babies she was a sweetie pie. Your doe may do the same thing once she has her babies.

Ok well first thing first how far along is she in her gestation period? Make sure she is in a large cage. If she is at 28 days make sure she has a nestbox in that cage. Hopefully she will kindle alive kits. Its a stressful time for her right now not only is she in a new environment she is also pregnant and her hormones are all over the place. Let her kindles her babies and then try to bond with her. If she is getting upset when you try to touch her or handle her than don't touch her. It could eventually lead to her not having a live litter. She should be fine with the litter she is just nervous with you. When she kindles make sure she has fur in her box, thats a good sign. If she kindles and there no fur you should get a synthetic litter that mimics fur. The kits will need it to stay warm. If she has pulled fur, than look in the box and see if there are any dead kits, you will need to dispose of them. Then after a day or two check to see if the ktis bellies are nice and full, if not you will have to try to latch them onto the mom, to get them milk. Hope I've helped if you have more questions please PM me I am a breeder so I should be able to give you good advice:)
