leaseplease:My son and his friends did something they should have known better to do. We are pins and needles waiting to see if charges will be pressed. He and his friends are good kids, they did something that SEEMED like a fun thing to do at the time.

I just prayray: that the person who can press charges won't and will leave it up to me to discipline him. Right now he's looking at breathing and eating as his only privileges left.

Perhaps he needs to spend more time cleaning bunny cages will thinking about the error of his ways? Or washing windows? Scrubbing sinks? Peeling potatoes?

Oh, man.

I did something "stupid" one time when I was 15. My dad thought I ran away from home with a friend, but I didn't...long story.

Cops, blah blah blah, angry dad, blah blah blah.


I sat in my room for a MONTH. I was allowed to leave my room to use the bathroom/eat/drink real quick :grumpy:.

Will you find out soon if they are going to press charges? or will they just leave you to linger?

We haven't heard anything and we are not asking. So I am hoping that by the end of the week no one has contacted us i.e. Police at the door or the person who threatened charges this will blow over.

I think he has learned his lesson.

Hopefully at the end of the week I will have some really good news to post.

Thinking of you and your son. I am sure most of us have done stupid things we regret when we were younger, and it seems that he has learned his lesson. It's all part of growing up

I thought this thing was over. The person who can press charges called Monday night during supper, we don't answer the phone then, and said they would call back later. They didn't and nothing more was heard until today.

They left a number this time and we'll find out later what is going to happen.
