I have a mini rex who is about a year and ahalf, her name in Dakota, and I have never had a problem with with herpotty training, she has used a litter box no problem since I gother.
Now there is a cat, Bonx, in the house and the two get along just greatbut sometimes when Dakota is out Bonx will go in and around her cagejust sniffing about. Dakota has started pooping, and more recentlypeeing, in front of her cage. I am aware that she is probably justtrying to tell Bonx to stay out and that this is her territory but Iwas wondering if anyone had any tips on how to stop this behavior, Idon't mind a few poops here and there but at times the amount getsover-whelming!
She is fixed and I have put a litter box outside her cage, which she used at first but now ignores.
Any advice would be great
Thanks!!

People suggested to me in another thread to place the hay closer to thelitterbox. I did that last night and this morning there seemsto be a lot less poop. If you have any other animals in thehouse this problem may be ongoing due to territory issues.

Haha! That picture made me chuckle!
It doesn't look quite like that but only because it is on a dark carpetand poo's just aren't that visible (only when you get them stuck to thebottom of your feet do you notice them!!)

I have heard about placing the hay closer to the 'problem area'. I will have to try that.
Thanks a lot!
