Potato is a (now) 6 month old male, netherland dwarf rabbit! We were told he is just netherland dwarf but I also think he has some lop in him, his ears can be helicopter-like too. We just had him neutered at our vet, it's Acris Animal Hospital. They are very good for rabbits and also offer a hotel service when we have to go away! Potato always is so calm when the nurses there pick him up etc. but he's so stubborn to me lol....
Potato is a big eater, just like his human papa, they both live for munching. He loves bok choy and bananas (when he can get his paws on some). Potato is from Korea. His name is (gam-ja) which yes, means potato. ^^ Papa and I have a lot of nicknames for him and it changes every week... right now it's gamjuru, last week it was gamjigamju. haha.
Getting patted is one of his favourite things in the world (maybe like lots of other rabbits too!) Even though papa and mamas petting techniques are quite different, he loves both of us and can sit still for so long, fall asleep under our hands and grind his teeth! (he is my first experience to hear a rabbit grind their teeth during patting! I was surprised.)
He loves 'cleaning' up his towels on the floor by digging them and rolling and flopping in his cage. He has always been a nervous rabbit since we adopted him but he is getting used to us, every month he moves to explore a new section of the apartment, slowly he will become king of all.
Thank you for reading about our lovely Potato!
