Hi,

I have two rabbits that look pretty similar in their coloring (sorry camera is dead currently :/ )

Puff was gotten this Saturday and his previous owner said he was a dutch. Though he looks nothing like our classic dutch Oreo. He looks more like our mystery girl Daisy, and is around her size.

Oreo our classic looking dutch is around 4 or 5 lbs while Daisy and Puff are around 6.

I was wondering if anyone could post pictures of mismarked/poorly marked Dutches.

Daisy is black with a 3/4 collar/saddle and white fore paws, and a little white on her nose.

Puff is black with a saddle that only goes down 1 leg, and white on his other fore paw (nothing behind his saddle is white), he also has a small wavy triangle blaze on his face with a small line that is a little bit above it.
Actually found some pictures (I know they are really bady)

What color are puffs eyes? Both brown?

He could be a really bad Dutch rabbit or a Vienna marked rabbit

Puff has two brown eyes as does Daisy.

did try to get better pcitures of both of them but it ended with Daisy running away from me/the camera, Oreo feeling the need to chin mark me.... and then when coming back in with Puff him wanting to check out the camera and deciding that I needed a good grooming so i stopped smelling like the other two bunnies. :)

don't know if it matters, Puffs from paws have clear/white nails, and his back have black (oh the joys of nail trimming time :( )

Daisy white/clear front nails, and combination of black and white/clear on her back paws (three of her inner toes seem to have whitish fur on the bottom of her back feet.)

They all look like some very badly marked dutch- at least Puff and Daisy. Oreo looks pretty decent from what I can tell in the picture. I've had some really awful looking babies in my litters before. I've had some larger ones and some smaller ones. Any tattoo's in them? I know there's actually quite a few Dutch breeders in MI so it's totally possible to have been a mismark from their litters

Haven't noticed tattoos but haven't been looking for either. Will check in the morning or after work it would be in ears right?

I know the chick that got Daisy originally, got her from a farm in Wisconsin or Minnesota. Oreo is from around here, and when he first showed up there was a doe that looked similar to the other two with being mostly black. Also, talking to my boss that breeds Holland loops she can't think of any people in the area that does bew bunnies, but we are in a rather remote area.

yeah, none of them have tattoos in their ears.

And yeah just glancing and not knowing rabbits well I can at least be confident in calling Oreo a dutch XD :dutch Think he might just have to much of a saddle *shrug* (he has black spots on his back left foot due to attacking it after he got neutured.)

Still getting use to having a vocal bunny. Daisy is silent, Oreo grunts/honks at Daisy when trying to say he is the boss, and Puff honks/grunts while eating hay and grooming... he also loves getting his hips scratched.
