I swear rabbits just wait for you to have your hands full before they do something they shouldn't!
I keep Gracie and the babies in my bedroom so that they are notbothered. They needed water---- two bowls--- two hands --- Idid not shut the door properly because it would be impossible to openit with my hands full... I know, I know, I should have mad two trips. Ipushed the door open and heard a thump. The babies were tothe right of the door and I had thought I had scared one ofthem. I went to go put the water in the cages and noticedthat Pez had run into the room...
**note that he has gotten to the point that he is so fast you do not see him or feel him run thru your legs**
I look down and saw poor Pez... ..... Gracie was on top of him give himthe old dominence thing and had a good hold of his neck with herteeth. The four babies were all trying to get underneath himto suckle.... I guess they could smell her and mistook him forher. If you could only see the look on his face... I couldpractically hear him say "God, if you get me out of this one, I willnever do that again!. i rescued him from his predicament andcarried him out to the livingroom. He did not run and kickhis feet at me, like he usually does when he is miffed at me.He just laid down with his head between his paws and this really bigsigh came out of him! LOL
Right now Gracie and the babies are in their cages, my bedroom door isopen and Pez is sitting on the threshold, not daring to cross thatline. He had been sitting there for over 20minutes. Poor little Bubby... a whacko mommy and her babiestraumatized him!
