As tomorrow I am going for my Discoveries for the 2 car accidents I was in last summer. Gosh it's so nerve racking trying to remember every detail of where, what, why, when I did things that pertains to the accidents.

Some of the questions my lawyer went over with me I had no clue what to answer. He said they can even ask me anything about my past medical history. Lovely I can't remember half the stuff he asked. For example he asked mewhy I hada shoulder Xray about 5 years ago, I looked at him with this stunned look on my face and said I had no clue.

Any ways I'll let everyone know how it went tomorrow evening.

Susan:)

OMG, Lawyers just kidding for all you nice lawyers out there. I went for 9:00 and met with my lawyer for an hour. One the opposing lawyers was going to be late so they decided to question the girl from the first accident, unfortunately she did not speak alot of English so they needed an interpretor, so that too longer than they expected.

They started to question me at 1:00 pm. Well my lawyer was right when he told me the types of questions they asked me. They kept harping on my headaches and why I haven't applied for jobs in the last year and a half DAH, i can't sit for too long or stand for too long. They asked me alot of thing from years ago and my answer most times was I can't remember.

Now more fun for me having to go to numerous Doctors appointments. Fun Fun Fun.

My lawyer said it will probably be around a year before any settlement is offered.I'm just glad it's over.

Your part is done.
Now it's up to the the lawers to hash out the settlement.
Your lawer will have an opening bid and the other will offer half of that, and something in between will be agreed upon.
Justkeep trackall your expenses.

Wow! I didn't realize how long all of this took! The only similar thing I remember was when my sister was hit by a car while riding her bike as a kid. Thankfully she wasn't hurt too badly. The driver was totally at fault- speeding, didn't signal her turn before turning into the driveway, and she hit my sister who was on the sidewalk crossing the driveway. That was settled before Laura was even off the crutches for her sprained ankle.
