As a direct quote from MsBinky in my checking details of what's going on with her (whenever I post something for someone anymore, I like to check to be sure I've got the info correct, as there have been a couple times I didn't recheck details, and got some of them wrong :?):

2 months ago I went in for what I thought was asthma. Did major treatments because it was severe. Docs thought it was asthma too. the next day, I was rushed to the ER for my heart. Because of this they did many tests. And they found pneumonia. I started treatments then. Then a month later, I was hospitalized for my heart. They haven't found the source and I have a million tests to pass. 2 weeks ago I started feeling worse. And this weekwas horrible. Yesterday I woke up unable to breathe much and it was too painful. Went in, did treatments. Found no pneumonia. Gave me plenty of cortisone. Now I started coughing up dark brown which the doc says is blood. I am to have an other x-ray done and if nothing is found, there is a good chance that there is something more serious going on with my lungs.

I asked her if the dr had determined that her heart was working too weakly, and maybe her lungs were fighting to keep up, given that they're connected (being that the heart's main job is to mobilize the blood, and the blood's main job is to carry the oxygen that your lungs take in...

She said that the dr had actually determined that her heart rate was 160, when the normal range is around 70. So, it actually sounds like the opposite...sounds to me like her heart is working too hard, and either her lungs are feeling overwhelmed at the work they have to do to keep up...or possibly that her heart has to work harder because her lungs aren't taking in enough oxygen.

Either way, she's at the point of coughing up blood...and needs some SERIOUS prayers. I'm so worried...and all the notes we can emass for her of good wishes, prayers, love and concern will help her remember that we're all thinking of her during this.

Hugs and love to ya'll,

Rosie*

Thanks everyone.

It's been quite draining and my frustrations are piling on but I guess there isn't much I can do right now other than staying positive. :)

I really appreciate the thoughts and prayers

Oh gosh! :(

Hope you will start to feel better soon, keep positive! I'll keep you in my thoughts.

Sending healing vibes and hugs!

:hug1

 Oh my goodness! I'm definitely praying for you!

Keep us posted, and take care of yourself!

Thank you all.

I am breathing better today. The cortisone is strong and is helping. My chest feels lighter than it has in months. I haven't been coughing up any more blood so I guess that the worst has passed.

Thanks!

Wow...that certainly is scary stuff, MsBinky! I'm so glad to hear that you're beginning to feel better :hug2:. It sucks to be sick, even with a cold or flu...but it sounds like you were going through some heavy-duty illness. :( Now take extra special care of yourself, get lots of rest and let us know what the doctors determine was the cause.

Prayers for you being 100% better soon...

Prayers from me and the bakers dozen herd! I am glad to hear your feeling better, hopefully your on the road to full recovery. Just remember to always get a second bunnies opinion on any diagnosis.:D

I'm soooooooooo glad your feeling better!!!

Out of curiosity did you ask the doctor if it was tuberculosis? I know that you cough up blood when you have it.

Hang in there,

-TK
