Muppet is very sick!
We came home last night to splattered diarrhea and not eating plus runny nose and eyes. Took her to the vet and she has pasteurella and stasis. She is getting a probiotic and critical care. But she has stopped pooping and her belly is a little firm. She has not pooped all day but is peeing and has had two doses of critical care today. She also ate part of a romaine leaf and maybe a bite or two of hay. She also had a little canned pumpkin in the syringe. Its very touch and go and I am very worried for her. If anyone has any advice please share....Thanks :sickbunny:

I'm so sorry! My mini lop buck, fuzzy, caught pasteurella after going to state.
He made it through.

I really hope Muppet gets better! Try to keep her calm. Pasteurella can be caused/worsened by stress.

The best of luck to you guys.

Get well soon Muppet!

On no Katie, i'm so sorry to hear your Muppet is sick. She couldn't be in better care having you and hubby taking care of her.

I'll say prayers for all of you.

Muppet please get better for Mommie, Daddy, Fraggles and all your friends on RO and Facebook.

Hugs Katie

WE HAVE POOP!!!! But its not normal poop, its very small and black. At first I thought it was cecals but its fecal poop for sure. There is ONE that is almost a normal cocopuff. So is weird poop better then no poop? It is much much better then the liquid smear from last night. :litterfew:

Any poop is better than no poop at all or splatter. So sorry to hear Miss Muppet is feeling bad. I'm sorry it took til now to say anything. Been taking care of Jake who is also sick.

Will be thinking of Miss Muppet. Hoping she is better soon. She's in the best care with you and your hubby.

Let us know how she is doing.

Oh NO-Poor Miss Muppet! I'll be praying for her for a speedy recovery, and for you all as you care of her.

Well the poop stopped again last night and there was none this morning. However I gave her more critical care and canned pumpkin for breakfast and about an hour 1/2 later there was ONE completely normal poop. I just gave her fresh pineapple juice diluted with water. Plus this morning she wanted steel oat which she attacked and she has eaten about four romaine leaves in about 15 hours plus a little hay. Last night and this morning she licked critical off my fingers. Behavior wise she is her happy self. Still hopping around and grooming. After every force feeding I get foot flicks....I'm so tired!
