My Champagne d'argent went to her first rabbit show a couple of days ago. She did really well. But, I went to check on her a couple of minutes ago and she has a thick white nasal discharge in one nostril and she sounds kind of congested! Could it be sniffles? Is there any kind of home treatment I can do before she goes to the vet.

If you happen to have any Vet RX you could give her that, but it sounds more like a cold/URI. You do need to get her to a vet if she's congested.

Uh, the kind you use on a baby? That's a good question. I've never heard of anyone doing it. When you said "congested" did you mean nasal or chest? Chest congestion would be more serious.

When shes not moving her breathing sounds fine. But if I pick her up she starts breathing a little harder and she starts to sound raspy. Like there is to much snot in her nose. Her appetite is fine and I just gave her some probiotics.

My inclination leans toward a vet visit.

I agree to the vet visit

..you can try a cool mister( better than the warm air of a humidifier) to try to help her breathing until you can go to the vet but she most likely needs antibiotics.
