Hey guys.......HELP MEEEEEE!

I have the logo for the walk team shirts all ready to go but when we're printing it out on printer paper there's colored fuzz/static around the letters!

If anyone could fix it for me and my Mom I'd be forever grateful, we don't have any really fancy photo editing software and I have no clue how to make it better!

here it is, it's weird, it looks fine on the computer!

~THANKS!

Ummm....

No expert, but are you resizing the logo to make it bigger? If so, that might be causing it to go 'fuzzy'- there isn't enough detail in the original to replicate to a larger size when you blow it up, if that makes sense?

Or, coud it be your print cartridges? I have never got on with printers but I know that ours sometimes prints colours that have run etc when there's a lot of colour on the page.... I guess the answer to that would be to take it to a shop?

That's about all I can come up with- sorry!

here's the deal guys-
~i went into paint and got a plain white screen sized*as big as i could make it and still see all the edges in the program) 'picture' that i could save into my pictures file
~i took that white file and up loaded it to a web site called 'picnik' and using the free stuff added the funky fonted colored text which i then saved to my pictures.

i did this once before with different fonts and it printed out fine, so i dont't know what the deal is! i figured if i did it that way i wouldn't have to make it any bigger after i put the words on and have this problem!
thanks for the help guys, the walk's in 8 days and Mom and i are feeling the heat on this!
your life savers!

It looks like the same problem that sometimes happens to me when I save and save again in something else. It's usually fine when I make the pic, save it normally and print it out still on paint. Is it possible to do everything in one hit on paint and print it out? Hope you work everything out!

Edit: I just read your post again and if it looks fine on the computer, it sounds like it's just a printing problem. It actually looks a bit fuzzy and darker on this computer like when I re save so I'm a bit confused as to if it's a problem on the computer or with the printing.
Edit: Sorry, I think what you mean is a different problem entirely. Sorry I couldn't help! Good Luck with the logo and walk!! :)

Can you tell us what the name of the font and the size you use was?

in picnik it was Jandles in about 170 and Just Me Again Down Here in about 100(ish).

i'll get mom to take a close(r) look at the printer, too:)

thanks for the help y'all:thumbup:pink iris::hugsquish:!

ok, i just printed the first one out again and it's got some of the fuzzies on it now too! this is just too maddening, mom wants to get this done today/tomorrow and NOW the stupid computer/printer has to act up:X!

thanks for listening to that:p

maybe it's justthe printer cartridge like Jen said? i hope it's something easy to fix.......:tears2:

ok, so i opened the new logo in paint, blew it up 8x and lo-and-behold, there was that colored fuzz! i erased it from around the 'A' but when i saved it and then opened and blew up the saved image, the fuzz was back(and it did disappear before i saved it!)! any ideas?

Thanks for all the help guys! i couldn't get it fixed so it was Fran(pinksalamander) to the rescue! she fixed me up with a new one that's printing wonderfully!
MAJOR BROWNIE POINTS TO FRAN!!!!

here's her creation(it's perfect! she did such a great job matching the colors!)
