Hi! Please help, I recently got a neutered companion for my spayed girl and his nose seems a little brown and raw. His nose is experiencing thinning hair and seems a little moist but he's not sneezing. His lips seem to be crusty and brown as well. He eats and drinks normally and runs around. I am praying I didn't put my little girl in danger because I didn't see it when I picked him up from an owner who had him since at least Feb.

He is a dwarf about 15 months old. He seemed to be around wood shavings. I discontinued this.

I will try to attach a picture. Please help me. If the image doesn't load please let me know and I can try to fix it.

Thanks so much,
Kim

Did you quarintine them? You shouldnt put a new bun with your existing bun until you take it to the vet or observe him/her a few days.

The pic didnt post.. from the way you are describing it I would take the bun to the vet for an overall check up.

Good luck.

I think it may be allergies from the wood shavings. Definitely separate them, I kind of know what its like, my rabbit had a respitory infection awhile back, so it may be that. Google respitory infection and see if his symptoms match up...

Thank you all for the responses :) I will bring all of this information with me to the vet, and he is quarentined to make sure my other bunny doesn't catch what he has.
