My mom is super mad because she doesn't think that the NIC is going to work out even though i have told her TIME AND TIME again every little plan i can thik of! She's stressing about what we're going to use for flooring, so could anyone please jsut list things i can use for flooring???? PLEASE HURRY! :(

I used a piece of rolled linoleum. Just be sure edges go past edge of cage.
Here's photo:

Others have used same linoleum but attached to a piece of plywood. I opted for the easy way. You can even make it larger than I did. Some like to use coroplast.

You can also use a rug and put underneath the rug something waterproof like a shower curtain or a piece of linoleum. (The linoleum comes in rolls at lowes or home depot)

Here's a photo of the rug with linoleum underneath.

I used a tarp, and I had a blanket down too but Cosmo peed all over it -.-" So I took the blanket out and left the tarp, but I'm going to be buying a cheapo tablecloth from walmart to put on top of the tarp, so it's bright and I can change the patterns :p The tablecloths I'm getting are bigger than my dining room table, which incidentally is about the same base size as cosmo's cage

Well, i'm very relieved and happy to say that the majority of the cage is done (of course, we still need decor and toys!) but it looks great, just the way I wanted! It as a second level and divider!
I'll post pics soon!

I'll be looking forward to seeing photos. Maybe you can take a photo before you add all the decor too. (Like the one I have of the large cage. [I also have a pic of that one with bunnies inside too])

Just FYI, you may not have noticed but you posted this under games & funnies. It probably should've gone under "housing & environment." A moderator may switch it to its appropriate category.

I used coroplast as the base to both my NIC cages. This site shows you how to get the coroplast to fit and come up the sides. http://www.guineapigcages.com/howto.htm. One of the reasons why I like the coroplast is that it is easy to clean and it only took me 1.5hrs to make each of my NIC cages. I have herd it takes some people more than 1 day.

I also used coroplast, as I didn't have the tools to be cutting wood and all you need to work with coroplast is box cutters or an exacto knife or something. I tried fleece on top (secured with binder clips) but the punks kept peeing on it periodically so I switched to this stuff to make it less slippery/stop them from peeing directly on the coroplast if they miss a box (it was like $10 for a HUGE roll at home depot):
