I understand now that its a book. Is it also a movie? What is it about... and what are the rabbit references in it?

its a staory about a group of rabbits that have to uproot and move AGES across the country to find their new place (and I can't remember what that's called). They encounter loads of obstacles.

The book is ace, the film/cartoon is ok, but not as good as the book. It's a must for any rabbit lover.

:shock:I thought it was a battleship/ocean type movie. Maybe I'm thinking of Master and Commander or something.

Makes more sense as you described - so many people liking it since its about rabbits.. and not boat crews.

It is such a brilliant book...

Once you read this book,i'm sure you won't be able to put it down

I had to actually order a copy about two years ago, then i left the book on the coffee table and forgot about it,and some little bunny came along and ate it,i had pages scattered everywhere...lucky i had just finished it anyway.

But yeah, the book is a must have....and it's sad to

When I first saw the name on the tape cover, when I was little, but had not seen the film, I asked what it was about, and my parents said 'rabbits', so i was imagining rabbits on a boat fighting like pirates, lol, so it's not just you!

If you go on amazon and type it in you will probably get an overview of the book, the blurb bit.

I don't know if i could read the book i cant watch the film without crying my eyes out esp when the bright eyes song comes on i can't even listen to it never mind while watching the film :bigtears:

I've not seen the movie as I have a thing about not wanting to watch movies made about my absolute favorite books. Even if the movies are good, they always change my perception of what the characters and surroundings look like and how they sound and stuff. I've managed to avoid the Chronicles of Narnia movie, thank goodness!

The book is really good. It's not a children's book. I definitely recommend you read it! The bunny on the cover of the edition looks just like Cinnabun did, I read the book shortly before he died and I admit to sleeping with the book for a couple weeks after he died because of the picture. It looked like Cinny in a nice meadow in heaven with the sun setting behind him. Silly, I know, but it helped!
