Just wanted to share - (perhaps pics to come later)

I have a queen sized waterbed setup that has a regular (deep) matress on in. Nice, big. Thats in my bedroom.

Downstairs I have a California King bed. It's the one that was a pain in the rear that I got from Craigs List. Still havent bought a matress for it but I have boxsprings covered nicely so it looks good anyway. That bed is huge (moreso than I anticipated when buying the 4 post frame) but in the end the room really came together nicely.

The other downstairs room has my childhood daybed. That matress - ehh.

But here, in my computer room I have a little twin bed. I bought it new from an individual I know. They bought it for their spare bedroom and never used it, needed money and sold it to me. I figured I'd perk this room up and make it look like a "real room" instead of a storage place. I had no idea it was a pillowtop matress set, nor did I get the full meaning of it. I've had the bed for a few weeks and the first time I slept on it... OMG I love it. I don't toss and turn, it's soft - it's just great.

Funny how the smallest bed is, for the most part, the most comfortable of them all. I'm just really happy with that buy, especially since it came with the frame, box springs and full bedding that really fits my taste.

What are frame and box springs :huh? Here a bed is the base and the matress, the matress will have springs in it.

I don't like sleeping on soft beds but is is funny how the smaller or less used things can be the most comfortable.

What's a pillow top??!! :dunno Is it one of those matresses that has a sort of foamy-top to it- like memory foam?

When me and Steve were in Dublin briefly last year we stayed in a hotel, on the best matress ever. I swear, I didn't move all night. We've been searching for the same matress ever since, and have seriously contemplated calling the hotel and getting them to tell us. We were going to lift it up and check the label for the make but we forgot before we left lol :biggrin2:

Quote from some bedding website:
A pillow top is an extra two- or three-inch layer that sits on top of the main mattress. This adds an extra layer of plushness without affecting mattress support. Euro-top mattresses differ from regular pillow tops in that they're made with higher-quality material and have a nicer finished look. If you like the "feather bed" feeling, a pillow top might suit you.
