Wow, Benji is BEAUTIFUL. Striking colouring. I bet he was such an adorable baby.

Do you know what colour his parents were/are? That is a beautiful bunny they produced.

What's he like? character wise I mean.

Thanks every1:) yes he is gorgeous- my own unique little baby
Care to send me ne pics of yours?
Well Benji was abandoned on the doorstep of the vets I work at, atnight, as a baby alone and ill. When he got better, I couldnt leave himand just had to take him home with me, and I love him to pieces. So Idon't know what his parents were, his birthday, or his exact breedapart from being a lop, or his age, but he is about half a year to ayear old. But he is so gorgeous- I dont think he was given much (orany) love frmo his previous owners...well lets face it...anyone whowould abandon a baby bunny couldnt give much of a good life to one, ashe was very timid when i first got him. He hates being turned upsidedown (some rabbits dont mind at all and can be put into trances etc)but he loves sitting on my lap and nuzzling his nose into me, orsitting beside me on the sofa and squidging up next to me. He licks myjeans alot while Im watching tv etc. so i end up with a big wet patchon my leg lol, and he comes running over to me when i come near him andhe licks my face and hands etc. He is very loving.
what's your rabbits like?

Oh thanks :) I'll hop over and have a look at ur girls in a sec. Here are some more recent Benj pics

Er, I'm not sure, but I thought strawberrieswere toxic to rabbits, so be careful with that, and you might want tocheck that out.

He certainly looks very happy and loved :)

Don't worry- I always check before I feed Benjianything. I saw in some rabbit books that strawberries were a nicetreat for them......but now im worried...:S
Okay...just looked it up- you can give them strawberries. phew! :melodramatic
Thanks for questioning me tho- rather someone did that than just kept it to themselves lol

He is adorable! :inlove:

It would be really nice if you did happen to size down the pictures. It will make things easier on our members who have dial up.

I keep coming back to look at Benji. He's such an adorable little guy and very lucky to have found you!

It's great that you were able to take him in and give him the love he deserves.

Thanks snuggy's mom! :)
Makes me really proud and happy someone would say that.
I'm so glad my parents said yes when I asked them....for me to be ableto give a gorgeous rabbit a fantastic home, when I am pretty sure hehad nothing before....makes me feel so good. :)
Thanks lots
Jen

Benny and Rolo (our yorkshire terrier pup)
small.jpg

They both seem very intruiged- neither is hostile towards the other.

When I bring Ben inside with Rolo- Rolo gets the idea that Benji wouldlike run around a play ball with him, but when Benji just sits besidehim, Rolo ends up just licking his head and back and Benji just sitsthere, occasionally turning to sniff and see who is grooming him.
It's very cute, and although both still seem to be a bit....unknowingaround one another, they both seem to get on well- no biting orhostility, except once when Rolo tried to play with Benji too much, running round and I think Ben got a little angry and charged at Rologrowling. Nothing happened though, and consequently Benji sat down andRolo licked until Benjis head was a great mass of wet fur.
I love it that they are both comfortable around each other (they even both sat in Rolo's bed together once!!!!)

Thanks binkies

Yeah I know!!! It was only about 10 quid and so I was like 'Oh I haveto get that for him' and he loves nosing it around. I have a smallerone for him which is about a quarter of that size and he loves pickingthat one up and throwing it. Bless him.

I had one of those balls for my herd, andstuffed the inside with hay, just by poking it though with someonethin, and they went balmy. Definitely a good toy, I agree with youthere.

Actually that's a really good idea. And I've gotsome nice yummy Timothy Hay for his hay rack that I could put inthere....maybe hide some treats in there too......hang on...getting abit carried away here- this is for Benji...not me...Benji.......andmaybe some carrots too.........:p

:D I've also given him the cardboard toilet rolls, and I even triedgiving him a golf ball to see whether he'd like that....he's ignored itcompletely lol. Unless he ignores it when I'm there and then when I goaway he secretly plays with it lol. I think it may be becuase it'squite small- for some reason Benji doesn't notice small things...likewhen I hold a little treat near him he doesn't realise until I put itright next to or in his mouth, and then he gobbles it right up andstares up at me as if to say 'more?'

Do any of your rabbits do that? Not noticing little things near them?

awwwwwww he is so cute!!!! They both are!! What's even cuter is the bunny and the puppy together! What absolule sweethearts!!!!
