This is Chase, he fell asleep holding 2 of my rabbit magazines. He was sitting there going through them picking out Sooty's and Belle's.

This is Sooty and Belle, in a bonding session, now if he would just stop "bumping" her every other second maybe this would go smoother. She was grooming him today, i was so happy to see that, and he ........well..........grooms her while he is bumping her, i think it is becoming an obsession with him.

This is me , Sooty and Chase. We were having some cuddle time with Sooty, he is just so smmmoooosssshhhyyy.

Sooty being a baby , and Chase fixing his shirt, i hope,lol.

Look at that face.

My son just loves him, he was telling me the other day that Sooty is happy to be at our house. That he just loves it here, and that he loves him so much. It just melts my heart how much he loves the rabbits and the piggies,"his boys" as he calls the pigs.

First of all I must say, it is so nice to see such a sweet lil boy with rabbits. I love seeing children properly educated about animals :biggrin2:I love the picture with him sleeping on the couch. Your buns are really adorable!

I love your two bunnies and your son! I think it is so awesome how you are teaching him all about animals and what joy they can bring to you.

Thanks it is so easy to educate a child that is so interested and in love with the rabbits. I forsee my future with him bringing every animal that needs a home, home with him, i am in trouble. Thanks for moving it i wasnt sure exactly where to put it.

well things have gotten alot better, he has chilled a little on his humping and is allowing her to move,lol. She is grooming him and i have seen him groom her, they are getting along very well and not really stressed, as long as the mounting subsides more and they can go about being "normal" then that will be good. They are up to being out in the pen for most of the day, i am here to keep a very close eye on them.

That's great that they are getting on so well, are they living in the same cage yet, or is it still monitored sessions?

we are still monotored session for a little while longer. But it is going really well and i can see how much they like each other. I cant wait till it is all done, i dont look forward to redoing the cage but it will be nice for them to be roomates.

Well today is the first day that i am just attaching the pen to the front of the both cages and letting them go in and out of each others cages, and i am so scared, i dont want a fight to break out. i have my oven mit incase soemthing does,lol.

i put towels down incase there was any peeing, i opened the cage doors and sat down. i leaned in Belles cage and petted her, and she is just sitting in there on her shelf watching him, but not jumping down when he comes in her house, i am taking that as a good sign. He has been going in and out of her cage, playing with all of her toys, dumping her toy box over and checking everything out, and she is letting him do that.



So right now i feel comfortable with what isgoing on, and iwill panic when she decides to come down from the upper level.*gulp*

Here is the monstrousity that is the rabbit and piggie cage. The bottom left cage is Belle's (2x3grid), on top of her cage is a one story ,2x3 cage for the piggies. Next to Belle's cage, bottom right another 2x3 grid cage, that is Sooty's cage. I will be redoing the bottom cage to either a 3x3 or a 2x4, not sure what one. The pen is usually attached from morning till bedtime unless i am not home then they are locked in the cage. oh and the towels are down just incase there is any marking, then they can either pee on neopets,sponge bob, or superman it is up to them,lol
