I was wondering since I am a first time bunnyowner... ramona shakes her head sometimes and cleans herself like herears and feet and body is that normal?? I am like a new parent I amwatching her every move. do rabbits clean ther ears?

Your baby is so cute. She's so tiny. How adorable.

As to the shaking her ears I would just keep an eye on it. Ifyou notice her shaking them alot or scratching then it'sprobably alot. What you are describing is normal.

Rabbits groom themselves just like a cat. Again perfectly normal. I love when Apollo washes his face, very cute.

I know I probably missed it and I am soo sorry. What breed isRamona? She's so little. Maybe I'm just too used to my big boy cuz shelooks itty bitty. She's Precious. I love her markings.

Ramona is so cute! Is she a dwarf Hotot? I love how they look like they're wearing eye liner!

Did you get a chance to read the "Cheat Sheet" thread? There's a lot of great info in there. I wish I'd known aboutthis forum when I got my first bun last year.

Ohhh i love the spots on Ramona's ears!!

Cosmo shakes his head at times, but I think those are just head flicks(aka..half binkies)...he does it when he's happy or needs to releasesome built up energy! He also does it after he gets someoaties..hehe!

I got her from a mom and pop local store. I didsome research before I got her, she is a mixed rabbit and I wanted adwarf but they said they were out of them, once I picked her up shelooked into my eyes like take me take me and I couldn't help but fallin love with her.
how big do mixed bunnies get ?

It depends what she is mixed with....she's mostlikely a hotot mix...I'm guessing she wont grow to be more than 5 or 6pounds??? I could be wrong though...

I also wanted to ask I checked her ears for brown waxy stuff like a cheat sheet said that mites would leave it red to.
I was wondering ...I think its normal to have a tiny bit of wax right?
her ears showed no sign of redness . ..only her veins and so on but I dont think she has mites.
hmmmmmmmm I will just keep an eye on her.

What a doll!

A small amount of wax is essential to the ear, it traps any debris andother icky stuff. If it is very dark, smelly, or excessive then youmight have a problem on your hands.

Good luck with the new baby, and we LOVE pictures so post away!
