My poor mini rex and angora are in the same boat. The poor girls. The mini rex is huge and she has 1 week left. The angora crabs at me everytime I open her cage door. Good luck on your babies. The first 2 pics she looks like she is begging for a foot rub.

Mama is steel and dad is black tort - so the steel is dominant over the tort.

:biggrin2:Yay, Peg!! You finally got your baby bunnies!! They're dark almost like Hope's were as newborns. And they look a lot like Flemish, not so much Elop. Funny. But that may change as they get older I suppose.

What's the final count? Was this her first litter? I'm guessing no.

I hope that helps - the photo of her isn't that good.

So far still only 7 babies but she's still acting like she is going to deliver more and doesn't want her food - but only water and hay.

I've had does deliver and then deliver more up to 24 hours later...so I will wait to see what she does since she made the second nest after giving birth...

Interesting, I didn't know they did that. Good to know!! Seven is a nice size litter though. Better than 10+.

We're now going on about 30 hours and she hasn't fed them yet....looks like I'll at least do a small feeding this morning and then check her over for milk, etc.
