Which one do you prefer? I'm getting sick and tired of Photobucket's messy layout, but it is convenient and simple.
I've been debating switching to Flickr. So which do you prefer and why?

I've never used Flickr. I've used Photobucket for over 5 years now have been happy with it. I got a paid account (I think it's $25/year) a few years ago. You get a lot more storage capacity and there are some other good features too.

I don't care much for Photobucket, I find it to be messy and annoying. Personally, I am irritated every time I try to do something on there, I don't find it intuitive at all.
Plus, it is owned by NewsCorp (Rupert Murdoch). I don't like him very much, and try to avoid using NewsCorp products.

On the other hand, I already have 4 email accounts, and don't really want to get a Yahoo account just to use Flikr.

I use Flickr. I think its neat and professional looking (if you need to send someone to your albums). I pay $24.99 a year to have a pro account (you need it for 200+ pictures) and I think it is well worth it.

:)

I hate Flikr because you can't post just one image like you can with photobucket, you have to post a link to the whole album. I like to post photos, not links. So I use photobucket. Other photo sites include tinypic and twitpic.

Photobucket stopped working a few months ago. It won't work on my computer or my sister's laptop so I can't use it. I used to quite like it. I have never used flickr, I switched to tinypic when photobucket stopped working but don't really like it.

I got Flickr and I'm not impressed. Very limited space, seems to auto-resize pictures, can't seem to individually link photos, etc. Maybe paid accounts are less obnoxious to use, but the free version does nothing for me. Photobucket has a ton of space, lets you upload big photos, allows all kinds of linking, etc. on the other hand.

I guess if you need to share your photos and want it to look professional, Flickr is the way to go. But if you just want to store & share photos, photobucket has MUCH more to offer IMHO.

Thanks for your input everyone. I think I'm just going to stick with Photobucket. :)

You CAN post individual pictures with Flickr and it offers a variety of auto sizes (and the original size)....you just need to click on the little links above your picture :). I copy my picture code by left clicking and copying the address.
