Did anyone watch petfinder on animal planet last night?

If not, watch it next saturday at 9.

It was pretty funny, expecially when they got the piggy haha. But I think this is gonna be a good series. :)

And bunnies were on the commercials so hopefully bunnies will be on lots of episodes.

I was actually gonna make a thread on this, haha. I saw the commercial for it yesterday and meant to Tivo it as I wasn't home last night, but forgot to:?. I plan on watching it though, looks neat. Yep, there was a bunny in the preview so hopefully they'll have bunnies on there:D.

I saw it. I didn't really know what to expect, but that was really good. Great way to bring attention to Petfinder and rescues in general too. And yes, the pig was a funny little oinker. :)

I look forward to seeing more!

I saw the commercial, and I wonder if by this show being on, it will cause a lot of children begging their parents for a certain pet without the parents doing research...which would cause the pet to suffer because of it.

Ya know...the kid sees the show without the parent around, the kid begs for the pet, parents say "okay", go to the store and buy all the wrong stuff, then the pet lives a crappy life.

I'll have to see the show, some time, though. I like to watch this type of stuff to see if they put out some wrong information. I'm curious if there will be any on about rats and how much information is correct :p.

Valid points, Undergunfire, but this show probably wouldn't make a child become a pet begger any more than a movie about a boy and his dog would.;)

I liked that on the show they pointed out reasons why particular pets would and wouldn't be a good fit in different homes.

But I am a big supporter of Petfinder.org and rescuers in general. :D

Although I am also on the lookout for programs that may give out inaccurate info. Specially on "exotics" like rabbits and ratties.

This is true :p. I'll just have to watch the show to see what it's all about :D.
