Well I woke up this morning to find all her hayand towels in her cage gone.. I was like "Good job sweetie! You ate allyour hay from last night!" (she doesn't usually touch herhay, maybe a nibble or two.. lol). Then I hear a scratching and shepops out of her cardboard box with a mouthfull of hay. I gave her a fewhandfulls of hay and she's used them to make a little nest. A fewminutes ago I put in some shredded paper and she's been taking it bythe mouthfulls into her box.

It's very adorable and when I put my head in there she started grabbingat my hair and trying to pull it out! She stopped just long enough toeat a dandillion and she's now back scrunching up her towels and takingmouthfulls of shredded paper into her nest. She's been working on itfor a good two hours!

I know that spaying stops it, but I don't want to get her spayed anytime soon due to her weight.

I'll post some pictures of my little Mommy soon. I think if I were tobreed her (theres no chance in the world I'd even consider it) she'smake a great mom. She knew to make it in a secure box and she knowswhat to use for it :D

Thanks for letting me post about my little girl! By the way, she's almost two and it's the first time she's done it :)

Cadbury isn't sprayed, either, and she's onlyone year old + few months but she 'nests' quite often! the first time iwas very alarmed because she was pulling out tuffs of hair in reallylarge amounts but I did some research online and was relieved to seethat unsprayed girlie bunnys tend to do it.
She makes little balls of fur, lots of them, and lines her Bungalowwith them and then pulls her towel into a little nest, also inside theBungalow. It's really cute the way she prepares for her"babies"!
I feel a little guilty that she won't have babies b/c there's no daddyaround for her to play with ... I've considered getting a tiny littlestuffed rabbit to put in her bungalow but I don't know if that'steasing or she might just nibble on the stuffed animal and not realizeI meant it as a "baby" for her!
