I've heard and seen video of this happening with other species, too. One example was a seal trying to get away from a Great White Shark.

I even showed that to Will, and he thought it was adorable. It's not often that he thinks something like that is funny.

I can't find the video of the seal/sea lion jumping into the boat anywhere! I know it was dealing with a pinneped of some sort, and a Great White Shark. I think it may have been off Seal Island in South Africa. In that case, it would have been a fur seal that they were chasing...

Has anyone ever heard of, or seen video of, the jumping Great Whites off Seal Island? It's the only place in the world where they hunt like that. It is impressive, but sad to see the cute little seal get eaten. I love seals, and I don't like seeing them be chomped on. I would be the person who would go to Canada during the seal-clubbing season and I would club all the clubbers I would have a backpack full of baby seals (those big "camping" backpacks). I think they would be happy in a kiddy pool in my parent's yard, right?
