Would there be a reason a male would pee outside of the litter pan? The bottom of the cage is white coroplast so you really can't miss it. He seems to always do this it's not a dailything thoughand he isn't neutered yet he's almost 2 years old. His pan isn't filled with poops or anything either so I haven't a clue why he does it.

Is the urine dark or otherwise abnormal? Sometimes they'll do that when there's a urinary tract issue.

It could be a number of things. I don't want to scare you, just trying to rule things out.

Well I always thought the normal color was dark am I correct about that? When I woke up I found a little puddle and I'm not sure how long it was sitting there though.

I watched toffee wee outside the bunny toilet a couple of days ago. He thought he was in it (all his feet were) but his big bum was over the edge and so he weed outside it!

Maybe it was an accident!

Normal rabbit urine does vary in color.

I would just keep an eye on him. Look for things like straining to pee, spending a lot of time in the litter box, drinking excessively, etc.
