Squish bunny was found running about the streets. I have no idea how old she is but we have had her almost 3 months now. The baby buns were about a week old when Squish came into the home.
She is kept in a separate cage than the other bunnies as Nutmeg, Snowball (both intact females) and Curly (neutered male) do not like her and will bite (Curly just nips or lunges). She sort acts like she wants to befriend the other bunnies and likes Cookie but they mount and hump each other.
Squish likes her cage, she feels very safe in there. When the baby bunnies were here and very small they were zip in her cage and she seemed to like it after she realized they would not attack. About a month after we got her she got a cough and a baby had funky teeth, so I stuffed them in a large carrier together for a trip to the vet. Since that day Squish has started pulling hair and made a nest in her litter box. She will not use it to potty in and doesn't pull new hair if we keep transferring the hair into a fresh box. She does not pee in her cage either but holds it until she is let out and makes at least 2 large puddles on the floor and also pees in the extra boxes I have around the living room.
Why is she doing this? How do I make it stop? I cannot have her spayed anytime soon but I am so tired of the lakes of pee and especially hate it when she poos in the lakes.
