Oh, no I think I may have lost my pedigree forbell!! Now, I can't make a predigree for the babies right? How do youmake pedigrees anyways? When I bought Leo I got a plane white pedigreesheet and when I bought Bell I got a nice color coated one! Know Ithink I lost them... I need them to register the babies if I keep them, right!

You would need to contact the original breeder to get another copy ofthe pedigrees. Without the pedigrees, the babies cannot bepedigreed and can not be ARBA registered.

Pedigrees can be written on any paper. ARBA sells pedigreeblanks oryou can make your own. I have a computerprogram that generates my pedigrees.

What is the computer program called? I don'tthink I would know how to make a pedigree. I will see if I can contactthe original breeder but I will have to find her number first.

Evans is the most commonly used pedigree program. Apedigree is simply a record of the ancestors, so if you don't have thatinformation, the babies cannot be pedigreed.

The best start would be to join the Amercian Rabbit BreedersAssociation. Their extensive rabbit guidebook that youreceive with membership details the information that you'll need forfilling out pedigree information.http://www.arba.net/

A rabbit can be shown without being pedigreed or registered, however, it cannot be registered without a pedigree.
