:( We have been treating my grand daughter's 4 month old mini lop for an abcess for 2 weeks. Flushing and chlorpalm. It appeared to be improving until yesterday evening. The scab was broke open again and pus behind it. She had been eating, pooing and appeared without pain. I flushed it and filled it with manuka honey. This morning her face and neck are swollen. Very swollen, hampering her eating and breathing. My daughter and grand daughter have decided that she not going to get better and rather than put her through anymore they are having her put to sleep this afternoon. The sad part is the only person who appears to be really devasted is me. I have walked around all morning crying over this animal, I guess because I did the nursing and because I am the all out extreme bunny person. I feel so bad, but maybe it is for the best if these abcesses are going to keep coming back. :grumpy: Binky free little girl.

I'm so sorry Alma. You did everything you could for Paddington. It's very hard when you have so much invested emotionally in a pet. Binky free Paddington.
