if i set up a playpen for rabbits outside will they dig themselves out?

I love bringing the buns outside, but I wouldn't do it unless they were 100% supervised. There is a good chance they may dig out, as well as be attacked by predators.

Although I actually don't bring my buns outside because my neighbors have evil dogs. But yeah, if you want to take them outside to play you have to be right there with him. All you need isone stray dog or that Great Horned Owl that you didn't realize prowls your area (like one does mine in the middle of the city) and you'd have a horrible accident.

My runs have buried wire underneath and covered tops. I also have a guard dog (great pyrenees). I'm sure they would dig out if possible.
