Hey everyone. We have only had our rabbity up and running for about 6 months. We are so proud of all of our buns and spoil them rotten. Most of our buns were purchased when they were only 8 weeks old so that we could grow with our bunnies, however we did get a few seniors, and our very first N.D Doe Monica (who is 11 months old) just gave us her and our very first litter. She had two kits last night/this morning. Both black, (shes black dad's a black-himi ND). One kit sadly did not survive, the other seems to be doing great and is really active.

This is Monica

We are so excited!!!:woohoo:happyrabbit::bunny18:heartbeat:

Congratulations to you and Monica! She is such a beautiful rabbit. :)

It looks so strange to me seeing black hair in a rabbit nest, because my mother rabbit has a white dewlap :)

Oh and I think it's great that you really spoil your rabbits, and nice that you got most of them as babies. :)

Congrats! They're both GORGEOUS! :airborne:

I spoil mine too lol What bunnies want, bunnies get. I just wish my dad would hurry up and help me finish the new hutch. Its taken priority under cody's treehouse. I get thathe needs a place to play, but the bunnies need a place to live. Lol, I mean they have a place to live, just not a huge awesome pimped out hutch like this one :p

I went and checked on the baby this morning. (I wanted to leave mom and baby alone yesterday after the initial peek). His/her tummy is nice and round and OMG is it a playful little thing. I put the bun on a warm blanket to take a closer look, and the little thing was crawling all over the place. Who knew they were so VERY active the day after they were born. So anyway, despite the wiggles I managed to get a pic outside the nest box. Our first little sweetie. (He/she is staying in the rabbitry regardless.....it is our first baby)

Congrats! You should take all the photos you can. You always will remember your first. :)

Day three and lil bit (nick name until we find out what sex he/she is) is doing really well. Monica seems to be a good mom. Since they are in the house and I am at home all day I get to see her go into the nest box twice a day and stay in for about 3 minutes or so. She lays near the nest box some during the day, but only goes in for feedings. Lil bit is very active and just starting to get some fur. (although there are a few scaly looking dry skin patches) I will get another pic up by the weekend.
