For our anniversary today, my boyfriend, Kevin, and I went on an adventure and ended up with our hearts stolen by a little Hotot bunny. We fell in love and brought him/ her home. After a while of rearranging furniture in the apartment, we made space for bunny's hutch. Such a little cutie! We are not sure what gender (s)he is. (S)he is only a month and a half old! :) I have to take lots of photos.

I am so excited to have a rabbit again- I had four of them growing up, and I was worried that I wouldn't have one again. I am joining this forum because I want to be the best bunny mommy that I can be :)

I would like to:
-Find bunny recipes that are fairly easy to make
-Find creative ways to make my own toys
-Learn how to litter box train my bunny
-Perhaps find a more rabbit store near me? (Petco doesn't cut it for me, but if its the only choice, it will have to do.)
-Make friends with my fellow bunny-lovers!!

I am excited to start this! Feel free to reply to say hi, or if you have any responses to the topics I mentioned above.

Hi, you should post some pictures of your bunny.

My buns like TP tubes stuffed with hay, cat balls with bells in them. Also any toy designed for a parrot will work too. There are some websites that have rabbit only toys. You can get some good ideas from them.

I look forward to seeing a picture of your bun.

Hi, i'm glad you got a new bun.

Potty training, recipies and toys and all that easy to look through the internet and find. The challenge will be what works for your bun.

For me, potty training was easy, my buns are full grown and i read it's easier to potty train older rabbits as they aren't as hyper. Really if you place a litter box in every corner, and then seriously praise your rabbit everytime it hops into it.. thats what worked for me. Doesn't matter if they use it, just that it's a good place to go. Now both my rabbits have one litter box each, in their cage.

As for toys... seriously, my rabbits are strictly only into cardboard..... i've bought the hay balls (with and without bells), the wooden pieces ball, a tunnel, mineral blocks, a plastic hut....... no.. i have to go get a free cardboard box and they work on that thing for weeks. lol
