As a new rabbit owner, I was braced for the worst. I prepared to unconditionally love my new bun bun no matter what his temperment may be- skittish, aggressive, shy, etc. As it turns out, I am lucky enough to have this wonderful, friendly, cuddly, kissy little monster in my life I call Oscar-Doodle.
Oscar's parents are both petagreed and tattoo'd double-maned lionheads. Oscar is about six weeks old right now and the breeder said that this has been the cuddliest most docile litter she ever had. Of course, I realized moving might change his temperment so I still didn't count my chickens yet. However after just a mere matter of minutes sitting in his play-pen with him, Oscar was climbing all over me as if to say 'hello'! The kisses came shortly after. I was even able to try clipping his nails. He gave up after about three nails but holy shorts batman! The fact that he let me try at all surprised me.
I'm so lucky to have this little sweetie in my life now. College will be much less lonely with my new lil buck. It'll be funny when he hits puberty in a few months, but even when he starts going crazy before we go get him nutered, I'm blessed to have this little critter in my life for a long, long time.
