For thoughs of you ordering pellets/hay online, where do you buy? I have looked around a bit as I want to order some Oxbow hay and possibly pellets but the shipping - no joke - cost almost equal to the price of the stuff! I found a store about 25 miles away that carry Oxbow but getting mother into a mood of going and finding it is more stressful than paying shipping.

I would like Bunny Basics, Orchardgrass hayand Alfalfa hay for Dillan. She is currently eating Manna Pro SHO mixed with oats and barley, plantain and dandalion grass, romaine and/or green leaf lettues, timothy hay(because it is what I get free), and wild carrrot and golden rod as treats. She is doing great, has soft poohs here and there but it is just because of the transition. She has been eating plantain and grass since she was very young, as her mother ate it, so I think she is ok eating it still. She is almost 3 months. She is growing good on the SHO but everyone on here talks about Oxbow soI want to try it.

The 8th we are going to lexington so I plan to pick up some Oxbow pellets/hay from petsmart but we do not go very often so I need somewhere I can order from if need be.

Due to your location, you can get hay that I consider far superior to Oxbow shipped in from MA and VA. Personally, I don't care for Oxbow products and consider them "average"....at best.. I have found other products that equal or exceed that brans.....just a personal preference and opinion based on the eating habits of my rabbits.

Bunny Bale is located in western Virginia. Always been more than satisfied with the hay. Shipping is sometimes a bit slow since the farm is located high in the mountains of Virginia and it seems not on the every day pick up for UPS.

Great products and great hay....they even have their own rabbit pellets. Our rabbits love Sweet Meadow Hay....we have to refill hay racks often. Customer service is great. I have ordered late on Wednesday afternoon and received the order on Friday.

And don't discount local farmers for your hay. Any hay that is safe for a horse is safe forrabbit. We buy hundreds of pounds of horse quality hay for our litterl boxes...but much of it is so good that the rabbits eat it...and that is perfectly OK with me.
