Hi guys,

My rabbits love Oxbows Orchard Grass (which is actualy made 10 minutesfrom where I used to live in Nebraska) and Oxbow has a pretty nicedeal, about $16 for 9lbs.

I'm thinking it will take about 6 months for my rabbits to gothrough. Is that waaay too long to wait for fresh grass? Ordoes that stuff just sit in the warehouse anyways?

Mind that we will always have Timothy hay too. 50-50. Mollyjust loves Orchard Grass way more, plus it has more fiber, Ithink.

Thank you.

Wow, that's a great deal! I pay $10 for 40 oz of Oxbow orchard grass.

Toby loves it. I have to put a little orchard grass in with the Timothy to get him to eat it.

As long as you're not storing it in a way wheremoisture could build up, like in a closed plastic bag, it should beokay.

My buns love Oxbow orchard grass, but the last time I ordered from themthey only had the teeny 40 oz bags, no bulk bales like Iwanted. Although I did find some locally grown "mixed grass"hay that is similar and they like that a lot too.
