since i live in lower alabama we have tons ofopposumes that come around to eatthe cats food but do yall think theywill hurt my rabbits

i dont think they can get into the cage.

Possum , skunks , coons canand will on occasion kill smallanimals , personally I wouldbring in the cat food at night, Leave nothing to chance.

If not literally kill them. they can be the occasion for buns being frightened to death.

Although I've never heard of one attacking a rabbit, I would rather the bun be taken our of harms's way.

I personally had a very bad experiencewith oppossum. We had one that was coming up on the porch. Apollo couldhear it and it was even scratching at my frontdoor.:shock:

Apollo went into a blind panic and bolted. He ran head firstinto the side of his cage and hit and the wall. He had a concussionthat took a month to heal. I thank God I didn't lose him thatnight.

I would take any and all precautions to help ensure they aren'tableto get any near your bunnies. They can hurt themselves orworse in a panic.

I have one that comes into my garage now andthen. He/she doesn't really bother the bunnies much. But that said, don't take any chances if you aren't sure.
