Does anyone else love this song as much as I do? I can't get it out of my head! It's not even the "type" of music I usually listen to (not even close!) but I LOVE it! And the music video cracks me up. Anyone else have songs like this? Any guilty pleasures when it comes to music?

hahaha ooooh that song. I was so happy when I was in the dark and didn't know about it.

My guilty pleasure is Journey ... yup haha.

When we play Party Rock Anthem in pep band, there's 8 measures of a drum solo, so we all bernie(for 8 measures, yes..!) then the woodwinds have to wait another 8 measures while the brass plays.

So we decided that we would all gangnam style...during Party Rock Anthem...for pep band.. I love my school!

My guilty pleasure is probably musicals. I went to mayo clinic for a week once(long story) and had my Ipod there while I had to wait, and a lot of my doctors were rolling their eyes at me, and being like "Youth these days, with their music..." I actually was listening to the Les Miserables soundtrack the whole week. :D

That's awesome, musicals are petty great. I've read the book but not seen the musical; Victor Hugo is a wonderful author, just a bit of a rambler. (Viva la 1000+ page books!)

And journey is definitely not a guilty pleasure, journey is awesome. Nothing guilty about it. :)

That's adorable. Teddy is pretty indifferent to music, except when I'm playing it. Every time I play guitar she stomps and stomps her foot. (Oddly enough, that's the only instrument I have that she doesn't like. Even my accordion can't set her off like that.)

I listen to all metal, post hardcore, hard rock type stuff(Threat Signal, Adestria, Periphery, Woe is me stuff) and I LOVE Gangnam Style. It's disgustingly catchy. The version with Hyuna is even better.. but that's probably just because I think she's majorly attractive.

Yeah, if I said I thought she's ugly I'd be lying. Her voice doesn't sound like a real person's voice though... I don't know, there's something about that voice. :expressionless

She changes her voice for Gangnam style to sound like the girls in the Gangnam district of Seoul I guess. She doesn't sound like that in her solo/band stuff.. however I did see a video of her sounding -exactly- like pikachu from Pokemon. It was crazy.

Just have to say.. Our senior class did a flash mob to Gangnam Style at our pep rally. x) I couldn't due to sprained ankles but I recorded it. :) It was only for like 30 seconds of the song, but it was funny!

On another note.. Country is my favorite type of music. :)

This is so funny! My buns are the opposite (or, at least Cheeto; Millie seems to mimic anything he does, so I'm not entirely sure!) When I play music out of speakers--or in the car--they get so annoyed and thump like crazy. When I'm playing my keyboard/singing, they will lay down a listen. It's adorable!

Do you have a youtube account? Here's mine: http://www.youtube.com/user/karikiddlemusic?feature=mhee

My guilty pleasures are basically old school jazz/blues. Love Ella Fitzgerald, Ray Charles, ect.

I used to... Don't even remember what it is anymore. Maybe I'll make a new one sometime. My favorite bands/musicians are The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Johnny Cash, Mumford and Sons... And lord, a million others.

That's funny, I love musicals but they are not a guilty thing at all. I guess I'm a geek. I love celtic, classical, pop, classic rock etc. Even country sometimes.

I am totally embaressed that I finally bought a Britny Spears CD of the top singles. I blushed when my husband caught me with it, but I do like some of her stuff.

What does Q-tip think of Josh Groban? He makes me swoon :wink

Boyfriend got his electric guitar fixed and I'm getting mine fixed on Wednesday (both of our guitars had the exact same stupid thing wrong with them. :rollseyes) so I'll be able to play electric again (for the first time in a year) and I'll be teaching Boyfriend to play too. He took lessons for a while, but... He has no rhythm. At all. Can anyone think of possible solutions to fix this? It's pretty bad... The weird thing is, he's really, REALLY good at guitar hero, so I'm thinking if I can take a guitar hero-ish approach to teaching him how to play, it'll make things easier on him.

Hahaha oh I agree Journey is awesome but still a little cheese ball. Thing with me is I'm not usually a fan of the 80's including the music. But something about Journey haha.

I think I might be the only one that doesn't like the Oppan Gangnam song :lookaround

I LOVE 80s! Then again, that is when I was a teen, so it is close to my heart. If it makes you feel better, I have no idea what the Oppan Gangnam song is. :dunno
