I recently re-organized our bunn playroom...

We had too many cages and the bunns had no room to run...so we built a shelf...reduced the hutch sizes and increased exercise time. (We only have one bonded pair in the room the rest are all singles!)

We have three cages on the shelf and two on the floor underneath. I was worried about letting the two bunns on the floor have contact with the other bunns because I was afraid there would be fighting etc...the bunns we have in the playroom are the ones we have adopted who had aggression issues, were poorly socialized, etc...Before we would block them off to keep them seperated.

We watched the bunns for the first few days while they were out for their playtime...no one fought...nothing...except for Tucker and his man dribbles and spraying...everyone gets along great...they all chin and groom through the NICs. Out of the 6 rabbits in the room they get along famously through the NICs.
(Peppers hates everyone and vice versaso she has to be blocked off)

We have been trying to bond a couple of seperate pairs out of this room...so far with little luck.

Would you count your blessings and leave things as is?
See whether or not they could all play together for outtime?
See if they would possibly bond together?

I have been tossing this around in my head for a week or so...
I know the signs are good...just not sure which way to go with this...anyone had this happen?

Danielle

I will post a pic of the setup! I don't have any pics of it yet! lol
