Gainesville Rabbit Rescue has received a request for an owner surrender for a gorgeous opal mini-rex male named Meme. Meme's current owner is losing her home and needs to be out by the end of June. She can keep him until then. We are full right now, but are posting Meme on Petfinder for her. We are desperately in need of either an adoptive home or a foster before the end of June. Isn't he magnificent?

Here is his current mom's description of Meme:

He is about 2 1/2 years old. He is a little scared at first when you
put your hands in his cage to get him but he loves to be held! He loves to be
out of the cage and hopping around which I would love to be able to do all the
time but I have a lot of carts and a dog so he can not be out without direct
supervision. As you can see he is beautiful and so soft. He is such a delight I
wish we did not have to give him away but we do not have a choice. Thank you for trying to find Meme a home.

Can you help Meme?

He is! I think he would match a black mini rex that found a home earlier today also in FL(hint hint!)! Double the bunnies, double the soft fur!

He is so pretty, and I would love a rex. Too bad my parents say no more pets. :( I hope he finds a good home!
