Since getting their neuter yesterday, Kyo, Tio& Tiny will only eat hay and sometimes cheerios from my hand(banana too). They'll also drink water. But theydon't want their pellets and Tio keeps throwing his bowl aside if I tryto put some down.

I'm out of greens and about to go get some more from the store....butwill they be ok with just hay and water and some cheerios for 24 or 48hours? Should I try to force feed pellets?

They did poop and pee ok today...

I wouldn't force anything if they are, in fact, eating and drinking on their own. It seems like they are doing extremely well and better than most for the first 24 hours. They are still groggy from anesthesia and as it wears off, the pain may ratchet up, yet they still have an appetite, drink, poop, and pee.

By all means offer anything they might like, but I don't think they need the trauma of force feedings just yet. There seems to be no immanent danger of GI Stasis.

My opinion, mind you and I am not a vet.

I think if they are eating leave well enough alone so to speak, they'llbe fine with hay till you can get to the shops, sounds like they aredoing fine, but I know if it were me in your position I'd worry as well.

You are doing fine!
