One of my rabbits ears have flopped

My rabbit glen is around 8 months old and has had standing ears all his life, sometimes one of his ears flops when he is relaxed but it usually goes back to normal quickly.

His left ear has flopped down and has stayed like that for a few days. I’m pretty sure this is normal as all of his 11 siblings have at least floppy ears but is it still normal for it to happen this late on?

I think what you can do is that if he lets you touch his ears is to put your nose a bit inside and smell it If you smell any kind of "smelly" stuff=vet
This is what I do from time to time to my Bunnies to check whether their ears are ok.
It's not a 100% percent check, so it can be that the ear still has some infection/problem.

My male bunny is like this. He supposed to be a "standing ear" Bunny, however he is probably lazy or I don't know. One or both ears are down nearly all the time. I don't know why, but its definetly not a problem.

Also, using the "peace of mind" phrase, if this does concern you, better visit the Vet so that they can reassurre (or find if there is a problem) you that its nothing.

It could be normal since he does have lop genetics. But if you start seeing signs of irritation with the ear, like excessive scratching and/or excessive head shaking, or if he starts showing signs of loss of balance, head tilt, crusts in the ears, and/or lack of appetite, then you'll need to get him checked by a knowledgeable rabbit vet right away.
