Well, I did it. I took more pics of them this morning. I cant believe how great they are doing..(I think they are doing great anyways). Do they look plump enough to you guys?? They were all still moving around LOTS hard to keep them all in one spot haha. All nice and warm too!!
Maybe you guys can help me with colors too? Or is it too early yet to tell? One little one is darker in color. Its weird, because both parents are broken color, but only one has spots on that I can see. Maybe those can develop later on as well??

Okay and for the pics:

I took more.. but they turned out a bit blurry. I didnt do individuals. It seemd that if they were out individually, they squirmmed a lot.. but if I had them all out at once, they were still.. probably warmer..

Cant wait to update in a couple days!

so cute! I see a fawn/orange a broken tort a white and maybe another shaded? Hard to tell. So cute!

Wow, they do look great! You've got some nice, plump, healthy babies! One of them should be white with an orange/brown stripe on its back and orange/brown spots... Hard to tell with the other ones! As soon as you're ready to actually play with the babies away from their mom, you should weigh them everyday. If the lose weight for more than 2 days, you need to intervene and give formula. Its so important to monitor this. We have been weighing our 3 1/2 week old babies for quite awhile now, since Aug. 2nd, and its nice to have a record of all their weights so you can be sure they're healthy! Good luck and i'm looking forward to updates!

Oh okay.. About the weighing. I have a weight watchers scale that I could use.. I will get a battery for it today, and start weighing them. Probably wont be able to weigh them until tomorrow now though. I have taken them away twice today.. once to get the pics and to get a more better look at them. Then again when my kids wanted to look at them outside of the nest box. I didnt want all the kids in the bedroom with Bubbles too.

I probably should have weighed mine.. but i didnt.

I just checked them and made sure bellies were full and back to the nest they went.

They are sooo cute!!! I suck with colors, cant wait till they get bigger!!!!!!

I cant wait for them to get bigger either. Right now they are just soo squirmy. I have checked on them quite a bit. I will leave them all alone now for a while. Let them get their rest. I saw teeth in one of them.. awww so cute!! It had its mouth partly open when i took a glance.

Im not really too concerned about colors.. was just a bit curious. I will probably take pics every couple days. I really want to see the development in them.

Taking pictures every so often is a good idea. You can put something next to them in each picture (same thing each picture). This way you will be able to see their growth better. You could use a deck of cards, your hand anything.

:) Yes, weighing them is very helpful, as is taking pics! Take 'em out as often as you want!! :) Although, i do agree that you should not have everyone in the room with your doe; you can just take the babies to another room!

I use a cooking scale for my little guys, it works well, what you do is:
turn the scale on, then put a book or something flat on the scale. Weigh that. Then ,(leave the book on the scale) push a button that says "tare" and it will go to 0. Then, you put the baby on the book, and it will just take the babies' weight, not the book's. The purpose of this is so that the babies will have something to sit on so they don't move so much (the book) Good luck and send pics!! :)

They seem to be doing well this morning! I went in and checked on them earlier adn they werent so plump.. then went back and checked on them again.. and it looks as if they had just been fed! :)

I love the second picture. That little dark one is my favorite one!!

Wow, they look great! That little brown was is soo cute; i personally think he looks the most well-fed, so he may end up being the biggest :) At least, thats what happened in our litter!

Yes, I think he looks like the most well fed as well! Not sure why I keep calling it a he.. not sure what they are yet lol. They all seem to be doing great. The one spotted one seems to be the smallest to me. But still seems good. I love how their little bums stick up in the air! Too Cute!

I am amazed at how fast they develop. Like with the fur. The little brown one is so fuzzy. They are all fuzzy though. Cant wait until they are a week old.

Ooh, yes! When their eyes open, it'll be a whole new level of cute-ness! :) They do develop very quickly, soon, they will start to crawl!! Have they made noises? Like, little squeaks? As long as they don't make noises CONSTANTLY, it means they're healthy. You do want them to make some noise. :)

We use a digital postal scale and put a shoebox on top of it. By turning the scale on with the box alreadyon it, itsets the scale to 0 so we don't have to compensate for the weight of the box. When they're as young as yours, though, you can esily tell by their tummies if they're being fed. It's harder to tell once they have a good coat of fur on them.

Do any of them have curly whiskers?!

Since the mom is mini rex and dad is mixed with rex you might get some rex furred babies!

I havent looked at all of their whiskers actually.. but I know that a couple of them have VERY curly whiskers!! I will pay more attention to that when i check on them in the morning.

They do not make any noises yet.. well, none that I have heard yet anyways. But I havent been in there much today.

When I checked on them about 15 minutes ago after being gone all day.. they all looked very healthy.. and had pretty full bellies.
