Ok so my che is a year old and he is a boy. Nuetered and very healthy.

But his potty habbuts as of resently are killing me. He is kennel trained any dog in my house in kennel trained welll that really goes for any animal cat dog rabbit.

But phoenix has great potty habits. So she is no longer kenneled. By a year old I could leave phoenix out for a while and even feed her out of her kennel. And she let me know she has to go to the bathroom.

I have a bell on my doorknob and from the day they came home everytime they go out I will shake it. So they assiate that bell going off with being able to go outside. Well phoenix will hit that bell when she has to go out.

But bruiser will just crap or piddle anywhere. 50% of the time and the other 50 he will hit the bell. Now bruiser is not left a lone for longer then then 2 to3 minutes by himself. And in the sense he is I forgot to put him in his kennel when I go to the bathroom or I had to get something out of the office. Now I just have a bedroom and bathroom buthalf of our bedroom is our office. Point being its like 3 minutes and yes he could of gone in his kennel and yes I forgot. But still.

He has gotten in the past couple of weeks where he cant hold it at night. Now you have to relize he can. He has done it for almost 6 months. And we go to bed around 11 he get that potty break right befor we go to bed. Then hubby gets up at 3:30 to take him on a walk. So thats like what 4 hours. And as yu can see form my pictures he is not a small chi mix he is 15 pounds easily.

I have checked for a UTI. He has a ex ray of his bowel just in case there was soomething going on there we did blood word. Nothing all normal. I cant really punish him after the fact cause he wont know what I am punishing him for.

But he has even started poohing in his kennel :X. That dog used to want to die befor he poohed in there. I mean the neighbor would call andask if he is ok. The would scream so loud.

Any advice HELP ME

I have no advice because our little Doxie/Min Pin does the same thing, sometimes :(.

Sammy does this in phases. Sometimes he is very good and goes weeks without going inside the house...then he will go a week pooping inside the house. Luckily *knock on wood*, he hasn't peed inside the house in about a month.

He has to be kenneled when we go somewhere, go to work all day, and go to bed at night. I feel bad for him, but what can I do? I can't block him inside the kitchen with a baby gate, because he will just pee/poo in there because it is a large space.

I thought about puppy pad training him, but in a way...that is like saying "okay, go ahead and pee/poop inside!".

I am hoping that he will get over this as he gets older. He is only 1 year old right now. I really wish we could at least leave him out at night to sleep with us, but we tried it once and he peed all over our bed....while we were sleeping :rollseyes.
