My brother and I put up the Christmas tree about a month ago. A week later I put a few ( maybe 5) Christmas balls on it and a small peice of garland. Everyone kept commenting on how pathetic our tree looked.. Eugh.

Which is why I am now putting the rest of the balls on my funky looking, half done tree. Now i'm in the cleaning mood... I like to clean when I get in the spirit.. doesn't happen but when it does i'm sure to finish with a sparkling appt.

Anyone else get the need to have to clean when you realise ' Omg it's almost Christmas '.

I wrapped 1 gift tonight.

It was a little plastic boxwith 10 diffrent toys for Sparky.

I'm looking at it now and the tape has totally came off one side :foreheadsmack:

It has a pink/purple/blue wrapping with like, christmas balls with a dark purple almost black background. Super cute.

The bow is gorgeous, anyone else buy their bows at costco ?

Their so full.. and not flimsy. And big.

Hehe, the box is the same height as Sparky so when he saw it he went for the bow and choked himself... not the smartest dog..

Ok.. i'm off my break, I shall put on some coffee to keep me going, get some more tape and do the top half of the tree and re-do the bottom..

Sparky ran under it and wiped out the whole bottom layer..

Its like a modernized godzillaaaaa. :grumpy:

Now that he's gone to bed I shall fix it.

i usually put atree up on thanksgiving... not this year... and I am not going to... my mother in law gave me a lighte ceramic tree and thats what we are using... I just don't know what my problem is ... im just not in the mood... I did how ever get my christmas shopping done except daughters boyfriend...

My parents were lucky enough to have dogs that never paid much attention to the Christmas tree, aside from trying to chew on the stuffed toys we put under there. My Aunt, on the other hand, had a big dumb golden retriever that ate all the glass-blown ornaments off the bottom half of the tree. I'm not talking about one or two, but every stupid ornament that was within his reach. He then promptly went and ate the Christmas chocolates from off the counter (where he normally couldn't reach them). A few thousand dollars later, they had him home, safe and sound. From that year on, they only had edible things on the tree (popcorn strands, candy canes, etc.)

When things look terrible and you want to kill Sparky, just remember, it could be worse! ;)

He hasn't noticed it much today..

We put these wicker reindeers around the tree and he tried to bite them and push tem over but they fell towards him and now he's scared to get past them.. hehe
