My mom had a 'cone biopsy' surgery today
She just got home, and is going on about how she wants soup.
She just said 'I need soup to make me strong'
..anyone have any funny experiences with someone on morphine, or a story of yourself?
:)

Sparky growls at people when he wants to play,
He growled at my mom and looked at his toy, so when she went to get it he grabbed it first.
She just gave him a 10 minute lecture that he shouldn't growl if he doesn't want to play like a normal dog.

I don't have any personal experience with morphine, but from what I understand it can cause delusional experiences. I would just humor your mom through her morphine.

When i was hooked up to the morphine button at the hospital i kept giggling and pressing the button over and over because it make a little beeping noise and id giggle and press the button again.

Thank god they actually stop administrating the morphine after a few clicks

LOL!
Thats awesome lol.

I remember my brothers girlfriend (way back) got something removed (cant remember..haha) and she kept pressing that button and 'feeling better' then we all realized it wasn't even hooked up to her lol.

LOL! I was tripping out the whole week i was there. I was always on meds so i was loopy and dont remember half of it. I just remember i was 13 and the nurse told me "You have great pain tolerance! Your gonna do great having kids" and i burst out in laughter and told her to give me a few years. I got some GREAT morphine stories though.

One time i remember waking up from a dream where i was a conjoined twin from the morphine and when i woke up i had tangled myself in all the wires and i was pressed up against the bars on the side of the bed. I had to get the nurses to come fix me
