Is it ok for my cat to eat timothy hay? When igive some to the bunnies she is right there wanting some too, and trysto eat it from the bag?

Tigger saying "mommy i was here before the bunnies feed me!!!!!"

My cat loves to eat the hay too, when he can getaway with it. For the most part, I don't think there is anything wrongwith it, as outdoor cats eat grass all the time.

The only thing, and this is why I try to keep him away from it, is thatit sometimes doesn't digest all the way. I've seen a few kitty poo poowith hay sticking out of it. Thankfully, he doesn't eat it muchanymore, after a few soakings from the waterbottle he got the picture.

Scully and the kittens eat the hay as well. They don't seem to have any real problems with it.

Though....I have noticed the occasional unfortunate side effect that can occur when one ingests too much fiber ;)

My dogs, esp the young one go afterbunny hay..ok and poos and even food.. they seems to think they shouldget everything the buns are getting.. silly doggies this is for thebunnies....LOL
