Just wanted to check, though I think she's fine:

Yetserday morning when I went out to take care of my Mini Rex Taffy for the morning I noticed quite a few (maybe like 6) oddly shaped fecals on her carpet. They were like big long ovals. Not cecals by the way. Is this a sign of something I should check into? She did have stasis once last summer, so I want to check in case it could be a sign of something. Maybe its fine, just thought its better to be safe than sorry. She's pretty good with eating lots of hay (she eats TONS actually) and drinks alot of water as well. Maybe more veggies?

Thanks,

~Mia

If it doesn't happen again you probably don't need to do anything about it. Her bowel might just have been in a strange position when they formed.

Keep checking.. esp. if she had a stasis! I've always heard hay is good (although I could never find it in my country). I don't know what I could suggest, so I'll pray that Taffy doesn't have any issues, that it was just something that happened once and nothing else!

okeydokey-thanks-just wanted to check! Since her {bad} stasis last summer, I try to keep a really close eye on her.
