Ok, I know the solution to this one. Just wondering what everyone else's experience is with this sort of thing.
I have two neutered male bunnies who love each other, a cat who is scared of everything, and a cockatiel who is also scared of the other animals. Well, now the bird is even more scared. Twice now, he has been attacked by my bigger bunny. I wasn't here for the first time and thought my son was exaggerating the encounter. But no, it was definitely an attack. I know the solution is to not have them out at the same time. That is easy now that I know what is going on. Is there a reason for this behavior? Bugsy actually went out of his way to attack. Is there an appropriate way to nip this behavior, should he try to attack the cat (if she comes out from hiding - she is terrified of the bunnies; she is terrified of the little bird!)?
A side note: this won't be a problem much longer as my husband and I are separating and I will be getting my own place as soon as I have income. I'm a substitute teacher. If there is work the first week, I'll be working next week. Otherwise, likely the week after. I'll have money to move in the next few months. Then, it will just be me and the bunnies, so they can roam free and no one will get attacked.
