So you may or may not know that I'm rehabbing (or attempting to rahab) 7 cottontail kits. They've done great for the last two week but now its time to wean them. I was asking the vet about it, and was asking about giving them cecals from our adult bunnies so they have enough good bacteria in their gi tract. At frist when I mentioned it, he was like this kind of :rollseyes but then said in the early morning I could try to use Ripley or Taffy to "express cecotrophs from the anus". I really have had no luck with this but am by no means sure of how it's to be done.
